All our homebred Highland ponies carry the registered prefix Ceol Beag. Pronounced "kayol beg", this is a Gaelic phrase familiar to bagpipers and fanciers of Scottish music. Ceol Beag translates as little music, meaning dance tunes, jigs, reels, hornpipes etc. An apt metaphor for ponies!

Due to moving overseas the Lone Tree Farm breeding program will be on hold for the next few years.
Herd sire Quartz of Croila exported back to Europe in 2013.

highland pony stallion
1996 Imported Stallion Quartz of Croila.
Bred by the renowned Croila stud in Scotland. Registered and licensed for breeding with the Highland Pony Society in Scotland.
Reserve Champion Mountain & Moorland at the 2006 West Coast Welsh Show. Quartz has sired 100% dun offspring, with consistent Highland type.
